America and western modern society is the richest culture in the history of the world - but most of us are not even aware of it. It's difficult to keep a Godly perspective when the bills need to be paid, the pressure is on and the kids need new state of the art ipods. Well, 1 Timothy 6:17 - 19 has a lot to say to us rich folks - oh, did you think this verse doesn't apply to you because you don't have a trust fund and a Rolls?
